Blinking Eye Ocean Jasper

I have just finished this - its another vintage 'blinking' dolls eye with an ocean jasper both set in 'Faux Bone' (I think this stuff is just expensive pvc??!!!) with sterling silver and copper, freshwater pearls and brass screws.

It can be worn as a pendant and brooch.

Its quite a big piece - the main 'body' bit without the 'hair' and dangles is 80mm long.

The raw materials cost me US$97 (the ocean jasper was expensive at its mined out now and so rare and collectable - that on its own was US$42).
It took me about 6 hours to make - over about 3 days as I have 2 small kiddies who always want to be involved in everything!!!

The jewellery program I have got suggests a wholesale price of $297 and retail price of $415 - but this always sound far too high for me.

I have put it for sale on my website at US$297 (the wholesale price) and will see how it goes! Nothing much is selling at the moment though but I am putting it down to the economy.....!
