This is a lovely painting Bob, I do love the plains separation to give the perspective and the distant city. Looks like a lovely sunny day over there. Beautiful. Joan (Robert)

pretty good for 90 minutes bob. unfortunately i have an aversion to yellow, so my favorite pics of yours are blues or reds!!

Interesting comment. Having another look at my painting, yellow does seem to dominate. I think the problem is that I used a cool yellow that does not accurately show the effects of the warm golden sunlight on the green vegetation. I will be at that location again next week and willl try to capture the effects of warm sunlight on green more accurately

Following the comment by Winnierose, I completed another version of this painting. Same size, but this time in acrylic with warmer colours
Unfortunately not plein air, but posted here so you can compare with the previous PA version

Gosh Bob hard to choose which one I like the most, can't decide, they are really very different, the change of colours almost make them look intirely different paintings

Hi Bob, they are both really beautiful. I do have a preference for the first one posted with the cooler yellow highlights as you said.

I like the colour of the background in the first one....and the colour of the trees/shrub in the second one.....

Amazing how colour can change the whole perception/feel of the same scenery.

Theyre both great bob.....
