In my opinion this needs more work. To me there is a lack of balance in the composition. Is that another face on the right of the painting ? If so, maybe that could be worked up. If not perhaps a cropping would balance things up.

Sorry I don't know who Kriv Stenders is, but that is a WICKED background!

There is only one face in the picture. It is based on a phot of a DVD playing and going glitchy and so the front of his face was missing.

I don't know... I like it, but I think he at least needs some suggestion of eyes there. It looks unfinished to me in the face. Great work though.

Yeah I have a habbit of not drawing eyes or making that area and explosion. I usually do shadowed sockets! Well the closest I got to eyes was a few years ago but I solarised them, sorry about new crapy photo but I just took it with bad indoor lamp lighting it.....

oooops !!!So sorry for my comments, Mike. I click on 'New posts' when I call in here & wrongly thought your painting was in the 'critique' section.

No I love critiqueing of my work. Honest views are the best and this is the WIP forum where it is cool to do that! Thanks for the comments.

I put pools of aquadeer glue on the picture.I let it dry in thick pools and ripped it of the next day along with the paper of the picture. I always paint on paper. I like the rips better than the glue. I left some of the glue on Kriv.
More work and mucking around to do.......
