I always love getting lost in Bosch's works - Just such wondrous environments that take you on quite a surreal journey.
I really like breughel also - for similar reasons:)
wow indeed, first time I've seen his stuff, it's amazing dreamwork

I HATE his monster paintings, but some of his religious ones are very beautiful. Definately masterful. He used to give me nightmares as a kid. *shudder*

I was fortunate enough to go to the Prado 18 months ago and see Bosch IRL...admittedly with a thick layer of people crowding between me and the paintings..and they were FABULOUS. The Prado has 'The Garden of Earthly Delights', 'The Haywain' and one or two others that I can't recall the titles of.
They were in a room with other 16th Century Flemish painting so I also got to see some Pieter Bruegel "The Elder" and other painters of that era.
Great stuff to see in the flesh.
