This was photographed last weekend in the suburb of Leura in the Blue Mountains.

We are frequent visitors here and Leura still hold many surprises.

Maybe its because I am so tired this morning and maybe my eyes aren't as focused yet as usual but when I first looked at this I thought it was a painting!!! Just looked again and I still think it looks like a painting, maybe because of the colour of the water, it is surreal. Again you have a beautiful eye for your subject matter.

sweetmango... hi there... i'm feeling a little bleary eyed myself... was up late posting.

I plan to try turning this into a painting.... i'm no photographer... i am using photography to facilitate my painting and to build up my own photographic reference library, and thought i'd share some of my images here.

The water this day was amazing in colour and that's because it reflects the sky... it was a glorious sunny day up in the Blue Mountains.
