I tought to show you guys what I've been up to latelly ... been experimenting with sculpture again but with clay ( and this new thing on the market called Super Sculpy ) its simillar to plastecine in workability and oven baked for easy conveniance...but not as user friendly for details as good old clay is ...just trying to find my self expression in a series of Goddess themes that are drawn from antiquity at this stage - these are my first two trial and error samples...bit more work on them still /basically just to integrate a few symbols of Goddess from antiquity as a border around...let me know what you think ...
First one is called Love Vine and the other Morning Flower

Very interesting. Is your T&E sculpture free standing. Have you painted it or is it coloured

Hi Bob - thanks for your interest ... no the sculptures are the female figures that have been attached to the timber panel..I imagine them hanging on the wall as a painting in their wood frame...and the sculptures are painted by me...they come out in a orange like translucent fashion...here I've attached the figures after backing on their own...I had to use a mini rotary to clean them up and smooth them out !!!
These look great Ves - shifty you off making sculptures! I really like how the love vine women are in a gesture that is shapes like a heart. Really great mate.

Well so far so good Michelle - no bruising any more just a bit of a red mark on my lip - well you'll see me tomorrow night so you can be the judge ...lol...!!!
I really like the modeling of these.
