hi petra....this a ready primed canvas bought from the local craft shop...70x 100 cms....the weive is nice and tight so not much tooth....than i prime it with burnt umber....draw up ...from a photograph....with white chalk by hand.....no projector used here...and off i go....i set up a pallate of red green and blue...i call this my primary palatte....than i have another palatte set up with some umber and mauves.i try to paint thick from the start as i usually go thicker
