I have been poring over this book, loving very single page.

It's the collected correspondence of Sidney Noland and Albert Tucker over their lifetime. It covers their hopes, anxieties, artistic struggles and gives an insight into the people, their process and the times.

LOVING it! :thumbup1:

Plus Sid is a bit of a legend in my eyes....:001_wub:

I got it from my local library (you've gotta love libraries - you can borrow books for free!!). Am now reading Australian Gothic - a biography of Albert Tucker.

Yeah I got a big Nolan book of pictures from my library. Sunday afternoons on ABC and Libraries have really helped me out with inspirational stories and images. Nolan has some really cool styles. I dont know much of Tucker but I remember a great self portrait from somewhere. Hoo-ray for libraries!
