Hello everyone
Ive been reading around on this site all night, infact it is 1.43 in the afternoon and I havent slept. I really like the interface of this forum and it seems as though in the past it has been quite popular. Im thinking that perhaps a new graphic and logo would be a wonderfull idea in order to perhaps freshen/liven things up a bit.
I know I am only new here, but can I suggest an idea of a competition to design a new graphic/logo for the site. Perhaps if some of the old active members where emailed in order to inform them of the competition as well as all other members there would be more diverse activity here.
I think that the image of the gallery and the visitors and also the spherical AAF logo are great, however they dont seem to illustrate the vibe that I get from having viewed just about everything here.
Perhaps a theme could be chosen and a design brief could be posted to give artists a push in the right direction.
As far as judging goes, I will volunteer myself as a judge, because I am new and impartial. Maybe Lauren could be a judge, seeing as though she appears to have instigated the sight. Perhaps another judge could be afterdark as he is a Slave to the AAF.
I dont know, I am just tossing up some ideas.
