This is really nice Belinda ...a really nice atmospheric effect:thumbup1::thumbup1:
I am most interested in the effect you have achieved because I have also used coloured pencil on a pastel surface (colour fix)
I found the ordinary coloured pencil on the colour fix paper was great to apply and also easy (although it really chews up the coloured pencil).I also like the effect it gives. Did you use colourfix paper or a true board?

Thankyou everyone.

Sandy this was a true pastelboard imported from the US. It means i can varnish the board and frame without glass hence the reason i got it. Here is the link, noone stocks it that i know of in Australia i wish they did :) cost me a small fortune but i really wanted to give it a go.

I have used colourfix quite a few times its bit harder than the paper but much the same texture :)

Belinda, I am sorry I haven't responded sooner..have been busy.
Thank you very much for the information about the pastel board.
Have you actually fixed and varnished it yet?
Are you happy with the end result?
Have a great Christmas

Hi Sandy,

Yes i have fixed / varnished the board it looks great. Great for framing i was actually going to give it a couple more coats but had forgotten. Definitely alot brighter than framing under glass :)
